Name in Credits - Registration Now Open

Hello everyone!

Just a couple of things to note about the names registered for credits.

First, all names will be accepted at first, but if we determine that a certain name cannot be used, we will send an email to the address registered to your Square Enix Account after the registration period is over, asking you to re-register.

Also, in the event that multiple people enter the same exact name, it will only be displayed once. For example, if 10 people registered “Naoki Yoshida,” this name would only appear once.

Twice, I hope- since his name should also be in the credits under producer. Unless we have to use his name to get it in the credits lol

I have two capital letters in my name but can only capitalize the first letter!

Could have gone with "ss" instead of "s" and "ue" instead of "ü". Would probably look kinda weird, but still :x

Ya that's what i did. ;_; (ss and ue) but I really hate to do that (it's like a completely different name) ^^;

*sniff* My last game ever to have my name in the credits in it. I feel almost sad about that...

I hope it's because of something good, like you're getting married, and not that you have a terminal illness or are aware of the impending destruction of Earth.

Would have been nice if our Country/Server (depeding on what Name one did choose, RL/ingame) would be shown beside the Name

Regarding the Legacy credits registration, we have been receiving numerous requests from various regions asking to increase the character sets that can be accepted and also decrease the minimum length required.

To fulfill these requests and have more names to be included in the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn credits, we are currently looking into this matter.

Further details including the list of new character sets that can be accepted will be announced once the conclusion is set.

In addition, we are also planning to allow the Legacy players to re-register their name. Further details will be announced once they become available.
