I don't get it. Sometimes it's ok to just say you're in beta, sometimes it's not... I wish people would just make up their minds. lol I honestly don't get what's wrong with just saying you're in beta anyway. I get the purpose of the rest of the rules, but that one seems so... pointless.

In doubt simply stick by what's written on the NDA you signed. I see no reason why people would want to slap their beta status in the face of those that can't be in it anyway.

Well, that's not the intent of everyone who wants to say they're in beta. Then again, I don't know why people who might not be in beta would want become over-9000 super jealous of those who are. It's kind of unnecessary. lol

Well, my original point is, I don't even see why it's a reportable "offense". Or at least I didn't, till ArkhamNative pointed out it's "purpose", to ensure ididots don't say too much about beta.

Never underestimate SE on how touchy they can be about mentioning you're even in beta. I made a post that said "I can neither confirm nor deny that I am or am not in the beta test, this post brought to you by the letters NDA.". It was deleted within an hour, and that was here on the Lodestone...

NDAs exist for a very good reason, so I'm glad SE is taking it seriously.

besides, i share a personal dislike for people that sign things without reading them.
