Players should not be expected to log out of game or tab out of game to search a website for basic information that should be available in a tooltip and I doubt that information is accurate enough to warrent not adding the info in-game.I am in agreement with all concerns presented and even fancy the HQ suggestions by the originator of the thread. I am happy to see my interests in food were not singularly bashed by the present condition of food effects. But to be completely fair we do have a lot of information about Food effects, and we can see some of the effects-HP,MP, and ATTRIBUTES (STR,INT,...etc). We even have discovered the correlations individual groups of foods have with specific Elements& Attributes. Heck, I still buy Shepherd's Pie before I go out to rank my MRD! But all that is not enough; I MUST see if it is true and how effective the truth is...

Agreed. I myself haven't used food buffs yet other than to figure out what race likes what (The only thing I found as a Moon Keeper Miq'ote is a love for fish/shellfish) and it's also possible these 'researched' food buffs will play differently depending on race/class/what have you, so how can I be sure they are accurate or not? (Besides it being a player based means of information so there is always a chance for errors).
Example, a specific food gives a certain amount of HP across the board but for those the race/class favors, gets a much more substantial amount of HP than the rest, and maybe there's another food for another class that gives the base amount of HP but for MY class gives me the boost. Why would I buy and use the one that would give me a general amount when I could use a class specific/race specific food useful to me?
I can understand SE being worried about those spamming food buffs for those abusing them (I remember early on everyone drinking distilled water/boiled eggs/whatever) but Culinarians need a reason to be culinarians.
