Two Questions for the Devs: RP Server and Legacy Naming Credits

remember that most rpers are already on Balmung. If you are going to designate any server it should be Balmung.

Server names may be changed with the release of 2.0, we don't know yet ;~; ; but with their decision to label one server RP, everyone who wishes to will be able to go there so you have nothing to worry about

Uhh not exactly. If they pick other server than Balmung, some RPs might want to stay on Balmung due to friendships they made. Which is why it would be best to stick with the same server~

Being a RPer myself, it would be very hard for me to decide to either stay on Balmung or move to the new official RP server. Many of my friends are not RPs and they prolly not wish to change the server. The concern around this matter is not something no needing to worry about actually.

If they keep the Server names I'm pretty sure they'll keep Balmung as the RP server (since it's pretty widely known that that is where the biggest RP population is and has been since it was called 'Besaid' all those eons ago) ; but my point was that if they changed the server names completely, which is a possibility; then all the RPers would flock to the RP labelled server since there would be no 'Balmung'


It's going to get even more confusing picking where you want to go based on data center too, if you have a specific group of friends that you wanna stick with then drag them with you ;;

I do forsee that with the data centers etc we'll see a huge turnaround of who-goes-where because a lot of people will want to play on a server with less ping; the Balmung you once knew may not be there anyways at launch D:
