Well, I played XI for around 4 years, loved my WHM, DNC and SMN. One of my fonder memories is getting my Carbuncle gloves, the party was just full of fun people.

My own personal achievements were my Chocobo racing Trophies and soloing Shiva 1/1 on Iceday (they were stronger on their elements day)

It's funny because I went a whole 1/7 on Ifrit on Firesday and in XIV I went around about 1/55 before finally dropped a weapon on me XD ...Ifrit hates me...

When XI became too much of a chore to play due to needing hours to do even the smallest tasks, we had a big party, gave away all our Gil and hard won items and never looked back.

Then FFXIV came out, got new computers, collection editions... Played it because there were so many good memories from XI that I wanted to see if this new world would make more~! it was clumsy but... I enjoyed it for the most part I suppose... but then I took about 8 months break because there were so many flaws that I just didn't want to deal with. I missed the Summer (swimsuit) event because of my break. Later I came back and things were different, with every patch something was fixed or improved and the game (finally) became a pleasure to play.

Little Darklight here, little Garuda there and my LS and I were spending every night doing something fun ^_^

Question to add to Kirito's: What things are you looking most forward to in 2.0?

I look most forward to getting my Relic Tome for SMN once 2.0 is launched... I am really interested to see how Ifu-X has changed in terms of difficulty and strategy. I am also really looking forward to scaling the Crystal Tower one floor at a time.
I really, really, really am looking forward to having my own home and raising superb Chocobos once again...

EVERYTHING... but mostly being able to play WHM again because in all of FF WHM is my fav job/class!! summoner is kind of second...

Why did everyone decide to play ff14?

I played FFXI for years. It started with a friend inviting me to play, who is now my fiance ^-^ I feel like I owe a thanks to XI because it brought us closer together. We moved to collage and were interested in a mmo that was not as demanding as XI and most of the people we played with on XI had quit or stopped playing. I was so excited to play XIV because I wanted to re-live all the fun times I had in XI. When we discovered XIV was pretty terrible (at first) (personal opinion) I was so upset... I stayed with the game in hopes that it would get better and it looks like it has payed off big time!~ It was the friends we made that kept us playing and still to this day they make the game so much more enjoyable.

Question to add to Kirito's: What things are you looking most forward to in 2.0?

There is so much I am looking forward to!!! Chocobo raising, pets, housing, and the new features promised for Linkshells/Free Companies!! I hear that we may get our own Airship (Free companies)! OwO

I was upset about the endless add-on and abysea set of XI, so I decided to leave.
Then, I played 14 beta at my first PAX prime 2010. instant full in love with it.

I love (sincerely) how the battle (gage-thing) works, the crafting, the look, the music... everything regardless what people said and felt. FF14 to me is always an gold mine to me cus I always figure out how to play it extremely nicely... such as I started as puglist and tank for everyone in the 15+ ppl pt. mastered the position, gage-thing/damage relationship and stuffs long time ago... so that's why I'm very attached to it.
I remember I was one of the top ranking pug and always #3ish weaver and made tons gils. It's very satisfying...

Then Yoshi-P came. Everything became I can't say nicer but equally good (cus I crazily <3 original 1.0, and still crazily <3 1.19+)

Again I will crazily <3 the future works cus I'm the person work on what ppl gave to me and master it, not ask ppl give me certain thing I want, so I can master it...

I played it because I was a longtime FFXI player. Unfortunately, FFXIV turned out to be the worst MMORPG I've ever played.

back to the subject:

I played XI for....2.5...3 years as mostly MNK and RNG. I had fun, and most regulars of Siren knew me or knew of me. Moved on to XIV because Siren at the time was very vaccant for the most part outside of JP prime time.

What do I look forward in 2.0?

The Gilgamesh quests, crystal tower,chocobo raising (maybe breeding?) and more subligar~!

It's weird, every so often a lala will make a post. I know the post doesn't exist, because what kind of person posts negative things in a positive thread? So I must assume it must be a bug. I can only hope SE will remove the bug sooner than later. But they have more important things to worry about then such a pesky little bug. Anyway. I'm heading off to work.

It would depend on the boss, not all would fit well in Ezorea's lore.

I was super excited for an HD FF MMO. Also really wanted to see my old FFXI friends again. Some of them I still haven't seen back yet cuz they're waiting on PS3 stilll.

Apart from that,

• Running around as a Female Roegadyn who never takes her helmet off. EVER.
• Massive PVP
• HOUSING!
• Tanking Bahamut
• Raising my chocobo into my personal slave.
• Getting married in-game.
• Jumping off of the highest cliff the game has to offer.
• Finding Gramul and hopping all over him.

If they do it, it needs to fit the mold. I don't mind seeing Squall show up, but he better, like, be some Garlean soldier who has the hots for a black haired Uldah girl who happens to be named Rinoa.

If anything, I wanna see Balthier again. After all, he's the leading man.
