It's not like she's ever gonna visit the forums again. It was just a job, nothing else. The posts of all those who are obsessed with her and are desperately seeking her attention are just pathetic. She moved on, people, and so should you.
Ok, three things, because I started all this.
  • There are times when it is "just a job" and times when it is so much more. It's the difference between someone saying "urgh, work..." compared to "off to work ". Do not for a moment presume that any of our community reps consider their work beneath them. As far as I (a consumer) can tell, they are very hard working and devoted, so I doubt any of them would like nothing more than to "get out".
  • There is a very big difference between following someone on twitter and stalking. I've been following Rukkirii's twitter feed not because I want to live with her (I don't) but because I find what she has to tell the world interesting and fun to read. Stalking would involve using information on her twitter feed to attempt to physically find her and try to become a part of her life, probably in an unwanted way. This is social media 101 - welcome to the twitterverse.
  • She has shared a good news story to the twitterverse. We are simply wishing her all the best, not obsessing over her like a goddess of eternal bounty. Is it a crime to offer best wishes when someone moves to a new stage in their life?
