    I think the world needs to blow up more often.

    I'm liking the idea and the pictures I'm seeing in ARR. Wish it could happen once every 3 years. Maybe next time a sorceress comes along and threatens life as we know it~

    How bout you, if the world got wrecked again how'd you have it?

    Well, If you want to follow Blizzard's example it's every 6 yrs. heh, It's too much work to do it every 3yrs!
    I think expansions that opens up new sections of the world and jobs would be just fine!

    The idea about it for an MMO is sound. Within a 6yr period the technology to play the game catches up and the game starts to look dated. Rebuilding, and updating the graphics engine and making things more detailed renews interest in the game, because everything is new again!

    Sad part in XIV's case was required to keep the game going renew interest in the game to "hopefully" prevent it from being a complete failure. Not to keep the current subscribers going and get new subscribers!

    Not going to say that an Apocalypse like this may happen again, because who knows!, but I'm betting it won't be for 6-7yrs from now after 3-4 expansions inbetween.
