Not that at all, believe it or not, I've never heard of anyone eating kangaroo before. I like kangaroos, couldn't ever eat one.Firstly, white man has cleared so much land and created unprecedented volumes of grazing space that kangaroos no longer suffer from food shortages and have been breeding like rabbits - there are culls from time to time. They are hardly endangered.
Secondly, if you object to eating a national icon, you must really detest the French, because they eat chicken.
Thirdly, it is delicious.
