So... People who attended got to interview Yoshi-P. I wondered how that went with this author. Turns out she posted that report today.

The interview/article was much less hate fest and in places leaned towards optimistic, though I thought it seemed like the bosses must have demanded of the author more facts, less anti-FF agenda.

Still, the author managed to slap a dose of hate in the worst possible place: the title. With a "twist the blade" kicker, we have the fatalistic: "Final Fantasy XIV’s director ... explains why he couldn’t fix a broken game" (PA article)

Well, that would seem like an effective way to discourage high level players running low level ones through FATEs like nothing, I guess.

Yea, it is making more sense to me now. I think I am just to used to having GW2 lower your level to match the area and always getting awards for the events, haha.

I didn't even waste my time reading that crap because noone in gaming industry has even attempted them as far as I know so for them to sit up there and talk about how this game is copying other games is straight BS because when you look at all MMOs they all have similarities some where. GW2 did not made the Real Time Battle i first saw it in Rift so i don't know wtf she talking about. "Using words like half-ass and pain in the ass to use" Is funny like hell she does not even know what she talking about. I like how she making GW2 look like this awesome game when it seem like a big % of GW1 fan hate GW2 lol.

There level sync in FFXIV which would do just that so i don't see high level winning low level F.A.T.E like noting.
