Bottom line: You don't want to see the concepts. You want to see the actual results. Results take time.

Well at least we knew what they wanted to achieve. I would have stood by SE if they continued to try and realise those goals.

Given that we don't even know what they want to achieve anymore, we therefore don't know if we should stand by SE and bother waiting for the changes (or the results as you call them) to come to fruition.
