*This is the resolution I played with in 1.0 since I only have a 20" monitor, I wonder whats the highest resolution I can go without getting the window cut off* hmmm it seems like 1360X768 without getting game cut off.

5 year old Mac Pro (windows 8 through bootcamp) .. 1600 x 900 with custom settings based on the high preset (like I would probably use on the actual game)

Getting around 6000-6500 .. Pleasantly surprised there. No need to buy a new one machine yet

Anyone has an idea what could cause this?

EDIT: I updated directx and it works now. i'll post results when I'm done

Updating DirectX won't necessarily help considering you need DirectX 9 for the benchmark. Newer windows version don't have it installed by default. On the benchmark info/download page, there's a link to download DirectX 9.. Try that and see if that helps.

I7 intel (2.66ghz)
6 Gigs of Ram
Windows 7 64bit Home
eVGA 580GTX 2gig video card
hard drive is just a regular old 1 500 gig drive sadly

Native Resolution 1680x1050.

Didn't take screenshots because I didn't even think of it at the time.
On High I scored 8646
On Maximum I score 6463

Odd thing is I'm shocked the maximum was that high as anytime the benchmark would pan to a wide area shot (the outdoor scenes) you could tell visibly the FPS would drop.. not to the point it was choppy but there was a noticeable drop.
