The whole Legacy debate wrapped up.

It was based on having a payed subscription for 90 days. It was equal for everybody. All you had to do was pay for 90 days and bang you qualified!! Did not matter if u played just simply paid. If you did not qualify you only have your self to blame.

how is that the entire debate wrapped up? wrapping up the entire debate would require either objective coverage of all sides, or at least an extremely convincing argument for one side or another using undeniably strong supporting evidence.

stop this senseless beating of Mr. Ed. only complete ignorance would be any excuse for not knowing the legacy requirements before the deadline had passed, and since your boyfriend played enough to get legacy *someone* should have very easily had many opportunities to stumble across lodestone postings and/or forum topics about legacy. if he got it and you missed it, blaming anyone but yourself is patently ridiculous. you had time to pay, you didn't pay, it's on you.

the only thing this thread wraps up is how one-sided your own perspective is.

There's nothing that can be done about it now.
You regret missing it or wish you would have thought to pay for it sooner or w/e, I get that I would be really bummed too.
But people making threads or posts about how mad/upset they are about missing out on Legacy gets tiresome.
I mean, after awhile it all sounds like a kid crying cause their sibling got something and they didn't so its not fair.

I know it sucks (to the people who missed out on Legacy) but please, making threads and posting comments isn't going to change it I'm sorry.

Also side note as Legacy members (not to anyone in particular, just putting it out there for all us legacy lol ^_^),
we also have to remember that not everyone who missed out on Legacy was just being lazy or was like "Screw this game!!".
Some just probably actually forgot or had stuff going on and missed it by a hair or w/e. I know I can be very, unrealistically forgetable sometimes lol.

The Legacy program was announced. The qualifications for Legacy were made abundantly clear. They even had a payment option for 90 days. The deadline for Legacy qualification was made clear.

If you do not have Legacy, you can't get it anymore. It's really NOT that important anyway, to be honest.

GET. OVER. IT.

The thing is Square Enix announced the legacy promotion and gave people plenty of time to come back to the game to make sure they qualified for it, that is what I did. I guess if you missed that announcement and came back much later then you were screwed but if you had any interest in the game at all you should have been regularly checking for updates. It doesn't cost a penny or much time just to check Lodestone.

and actually out of the whole campaign that is what I feel is the least desired... So I doubt there will be much screams...

I'm at a point where as a legacy member I wish it wouldn't have been a thing, because I'm drowning in the ocean of tears from all the entitled whiners who didn't care enough about the game to support it when it needed it.

For the money I'm saving as legacy I'll gladly soak up the tears with a few $20s.

It's done and over with we should be happy for the people who have it and move on and look forward to ARR together.
