We've had our properties ruined on many occasions because the tennants refuse to clean up. Sure they lose their deposit, but to replace a carpet with something hard-wearing for a smaller sized house we're looking at just shy of $2,000, that puts us out of pocket $1,400 if the deposit was only $600. And that's just the damage to the carpets><.
    The last house to have a pet in it took about $8,000 worth of damage; they'd locked the dog in the basement where it had constantly relieved itself (it had no choice) and the owners had never cleaned it up, the carpets were wrecked as was the linoleum in the kitchen and the house absolutely reeked. We can't even get our money back, we took them to court and they're all "HURR BANKRUPTCY".

    I'm a serious animal lover but until the majority of the renting population can pull their heads out of their ass, I'll continue with my no pet policy>< haha. Not saying all renters are bad, I was a nice renter Q_Q;
    See, it's stuff like this that I understand completely. Which is why I say, the owners have to be responsible enough first to be able to take care of a pet properly. I know it can be a royal pain for the property owners, if the owners aren't able to. It all comes down to, pets not being able to live great lives, due to the inabilities of previous tenants and having to spend their lives at shelters :/

    For sure><, it breaks my heart when I have to say 'No' to people, caged animals are totally cool though, but there's too many people that just don't give a shit about their animals here ;~;.

    I honestly wish people had to take a class or something before owning a pet or even a child; you need a license for a gun but you don't need a license or any qualification when you take another beings life into your own hands? It seems really ass-backwards (Not to say that we don't need licenses for firearms, we totally do! haha).

    Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means
