chocobo would make me happy.
@Gala: I thought I was going to have to flame you because I thought this post was another troll shot begging for the game to be more like FFXI and I was surprised to see it wasn't for that I "liked" your post. Kudos to your 1-10 man.
10 - Implementation of the System parley between players
09 - Quests more sinister, with more content, with options that change the course of it, and no side quests where you help a kid to scare a guy silly silly
08 - A system Tretramaster among the players in which cards will help you in battles normal
07 - Advanced Jobs for all classes, from a Thaumaturgo becoming a necromancer, a Miner to becoming a Master Golem (that last one taken from another post)
06 -Effects on accessories[/B][/B], like protection against poison, against silence, weapons with effects of self-rod, self-heal, fire damage, etc.
05 - Mog Houses, Furnitures, mail system, etc.
04 - real magic animations, not just this simple effects
03 - Classics and status debuffs, like Zombie, Death Sentence and etc. That ones whit lasting effects that need spells or items to be repaired and not only last a few seconds, I never saw anyone die of poison.
02 - effect necessary items, like a potion that will cure deathsick, and this in turn made with a culinary, which is the profession most superfluous in my opinion.
01 - Monsters and challenging classics like Tomberries, Marlboros, Abadons, etc. Bheremuts
The Dark Brotherhood
Auction House just because you know people are gonna complain when the game is re-launched AND because i still hate the marketplace.
I think I want to re-clarify my top 10, but essentially the #1 thing I want is for this game to establish a direction already.
1- battle system overhaul
2- high end content
3- the enhance of class uniqueness
4- the remove physical levels and application of points for each job
5- chocobo & airships
6- Auction House
7- mog house
8- make navigation possible and the use of our own ships =D
9- more content
10- PVP

Regarding the battle system, here are the top changes I would be happy to see:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...l=1#post104693
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
Some things I would like to see (in no particular order or rank):
1. Revamp of the job system to accomodate traditional FF jobs.
2. More weapon types to accomodate the job system (2-hand swords!!!)
3. Chocobos and airships (and maybe a phantom train?? lol saw this in someone else's post in another thread), this may mean a revamp or removal of the anima system, not sure.
4. Revamp of the battle UI. I liked classic FF menus. Maybe they can just change the action bars but I don't know, it seems like it just doesn't work so well.
5. Unlockable jobs? With individual story-driven quests.
6. Bring items like potions and ethers back! I know they're there, but as the game is right now, they might as well not be. Make them more needed and cheap. Phoenix Down can be expensive, it should be. But these should be brought back. And if they're gonna be used in battle, we pretty much need a battle menu system.
7. PLAYER SEARCH
8. MAIL SYSTEM
9. A barber shop to change hairstyles (for a gil fee), credit to Kilta_Firelotus for reminding me.
10. More towns out in the open zones, and actually have stuff in those towns! Like shops to buy potions, or aetheryte crystals, other vendor NPCs, for basic armor or weapons, etc., give the towns a purpose to exist. Side-quests in the towns??
edit: Does it have to be just 10?
11. Removal of physical level and just adjust parameters according to job change. (thank you Khazar)
