Pretty sure freaking out means something different than people simply commenting on stuff they observe. Besides, most people were dealt a lesson on giving SE the benefit of the doubt with version 1.0, so they prefer to be pessimistic, given the track record.

No, freaking out means just that. They freak out about nothing.
If you have to be pessimistic about this game, you should just leave. If it has come to the point where you have to see the glass as half empty, then you've already established the game as bad in your mind.
Also, when literally everything shown to us causes waves of tears, it's no longer about "concern," it's just plain crying. Not everything can be that upsetting.
Yeah when they say " Subject to change" or " In-Development" You would think people would understand that it will most likely "change". Sadly it's " what they see first is what they think the game is going to be like."No, freaking out means just that. They freak out about nothing.

On top of that, there's a lot of people around here who have this thing where they feel their opinion should be the deciding force behind stuff. Let's use the floaty blue dots to display a zone change for example. There are people here to hate it with a passion, and honestly feel they need to be removed from the game. What this tells me, is that they've never enjoyed a single video game before...because there is NO WAY IN HELL every single detail of a game was to their liking.
Some of my favorite games have parts I hate (I'm looking at you Caves from PSO...). Does that stop me from loving the hell out of the game? Nope! Why? Because I'm an adult and I can put petty nonsense to the side if the game is fun enough.
Now, if Yoshi-P actually came out and said "Oh, we had to change the graphics to text only, and there's no music now...also it's single player, and you can't make your character..." then I'd be a little more concerned. That's far from the case though...everything done to this game has been for the better, because the game was pretty flawed.
No hurt feelings here! Thanks for the concern though! <3
I'm just pointing out that maybe some people on this forum tend to take things a tad far.![]()

Well I didn't mean to rain on your parade. Obviously you have a very intense emotional attachment to your faith in ARR, so I hope all the people who were freaking out didn't hurt your feelings when they freaked out as they did.No, freaking out means just that. They freak out about nothing.
