Aion Zwei - Masamune

You can call me out if you want to.Sooo many FF fanboys and fangirls have been exposed in the last few pages simply because of one person's opinion. Especially that one kid, i'm sure many of you know who i'm talkin' about.
I can see why you said it looks WoWish in the screenshot provided, but we've seen the game before that screenshot and it's graphics are unique. Having the camera zoomed out that far is something often seen in WoW though.
I admit, I should not have given him the amount of attention I did, but his 'comparison' was completely unfounded.

Ah no I meant they could prepare all their localizations, submit it to one person who will upload them all at once.
I was just adding on by saying whenever I look at the JP blog it doesnt look like it has as much written down - like our local-izers give us (NA) extra love :P

When I played WoW we tell everybody to zoom out because you can see what is happening in a complex boss fight. For example when mobs spawn you can see where they spawn being zoomed out while you sometimes can't being zoomed in. All I can tell from Rukkirii's screen is that ARR can let you zoom out further than 1.0 and Rukkirii is not a newbie.
Well Darkhaund, while i can def see your concern of that photo being too Wowish, I think ARR is doing something that the other "WoW clones" aren't. Prior to ARR being released we were already teased with a great story involving primals and the Garleand Empire which i cant wait to see where that ends up. I really cant tell you the story for games like Tera, Rift, Aion etc.I have played all final fantasies except 3, and some of the spin offs like digre of crebrus. I have not played the GARBAGE of 13 and probably never will.
I played 11 for a long time and I also played WoW for quite a while. And YES the battles in WoW were much more dynanic, and fun you could say. In 11 you basically just either zerged or kited and dps to death. Dont get me wrong, there are things in WoW that are done in a great way, but it is the overall that just got tiring. WoW never had that "cinematic" or "narrative" sentiment that 11 did.
Hard to explain guys.
Rift for example.
Game looks amazing!! But it was a carboy copy of WoW with a different story.... sad.
What makes ARR different from SWTOR? Its going to have an actual world. going through 6 loading screens to get from one planet to another really takes you out of the experience. While you are def entitled to your own opinion, with all due respect, I dont think its fair to call ARR generic because it blended saturated bright colors in a photo. On the contrary, i doubt im the only one who got super excited at seeing such eye popping colors on the screen.
Def hopeful on great boss encounters in ARR!!![]()

How can you call a game garbage when you've never played it?

That and I'm also curious if it means we will have faster monsters in 2.0 compared to 1.0.. Obviously just an image so you cant really gauge speed but it looks like the Cactuar is hauling ass lol.

/think
sorry let me reuse this...
It's the same situation based on one "concept art" thing and came out the WoW clone comment:
