I don't know about you, but I play MMORPGs for socialization and storylines...RPGs have storylines, most MMOs do not. FFXIV can do very well not going down the path of having a storyline told only through a slideshow or website backstory.
I don't see how you can take idea's from previous single player games and adapt them to multplayer experiences, last I checked when playing FF7-10,12 and 13 you don't invite members to your party, you don't chat to them, you control all members.

We are asking for things that makes the game more accessible, FF11 had very few things that were accessible and instead of using the /sea and LFP system they tried to come up with a different party interface which totally fails because its too confusing for most people to want to bother with.

Gamers are lazy, yes they want to click one button and be added to a group and go and do their thing, you may not like that but that's what people want these days, they don't want to be standing at a camp or in town shouting spam for hours.
