Best FF is FF6. All y'all 7 fanboys can go die in Kefka's fire. Best job? Onion Knight, those OP fuckers. Prior to DS reboot, they had god stats. After DS reboot, they had god stats AND magic. Seriously, it's ridiculous. Most fun job? First Thief, then Ninja, then Paladin for me. Though Thief and Ninja is easily interchangeable due to my FF1 nostalgia. Hoping that Thief becomes a class, and Ninja becomes the job for it. Some people would call heresy, but I can live with that.

I've been replaying every FF since nov 11, and man, III was a blast, and just finished IV, I'm having a hard time for picking a favorite right now between III, IV, VI and VII.

If Hellknight could be done the way that's playing through my mind right now... oh god that'd be fun to watch/play/play while feeling like I'm watching sheer madness.

That said... if our crafting classes and progression became more integrated with our job experience, I'd have to take this guy...

Wait, why can't we pick FFXIV as our favorite?xD
At first I thought you wanted to keep the online titles out of it, but XI was there, so...why?

I was torn between FFII, FFVII, FFX and FFXII.
FFII was just awesome, mean and hard in many ways, and with a story I came to love so so much. But it was also easily exploitable and basically the story can't really hold up against the complexity of the newer ones.
FFVII was great in many, many ways and Crisis Core was - to me - the best game ever made, but since it's just a spin-off and the original FFVII didn't quite touch me like others did..hm.
FFX is easily winning in the characters/music/graphics departement which were all very likeable and nice, but not so much in other areas.
FFXII had a great story and I still can't say if I love Balthier more or the Gambit System, buuut..it was really hard to decide on a favorite xD
In the end I went with FFII because the overall experience was the best
But I bet I probably will be the only one who voted like that xD

I'm probably also the only one who absolutely HATED FFVIII and FFXI.

I left FFXIV out of it because I was interested most in peoples past favorites not if they liked FFXIV now - besides I didnt want to sport the statistic that people like or didnt like the game. It would be embarrassing if it ended up being 60% or more didnt like the game. I mean we might get 100% love it and that'd be cool but I felt it best just to leave it out all together.

I'm watching some shows with my wife but I'll be updating it afterwards. (post during ads lol)


I love most of them, but I'm more of a later period FF player, FFIV with cecil is epic though.. lol but for me my favorites are in the FFVI-FFX group.

A lot of these jobs are the exact same things with slight name changes. The archetype of the job itself is identical throughout the FF series though, so it kinda warps up the survey.
