Survey FF Job / Favorite

A lot of these jobs are the exact same things with slight name changes. The archetype of the job itself is identical throughout the FF series though, so it kinda warps up the survey.

I disagree, people have put different ratings for the similar archetypes - some of the wizard classes have gotten appreciation. (I also had it in scale, and in favorite so its easier to tell focuses (imo))


Anyway almost done with watching the series.

Necromancer and Dark Knight would be SICK!!! I hope we could get one of them someday. I would push more for Dark Knight

the question would be are we answering the way classes such as monk/pugilist are in the game now, originally, or in previous games? the answers could range greatly.

say for example my favorite 3 classes in the series are summoner, black mage, and red mage. in xiv i pure hate black mage with a passion on the way it's done, but the way thm was done originally makes it one of my favorite classes in any of the ff series.

VI was my first, and it's an amazing game... but for the best i'd have to give the nod either to FFT or FFXII. can't decide.

Good idea Dark, if SE ever did a big survey they should go that deep. I cant imagine getting many response if I made the survey more then 5 mins though lol.

Who knows our community is pretty dedicated.

Dragoon is back on top at 9 votes, while Samurai is tied with Monk and Blue Mage at 6, summoner and thief at 5.

Dragoon has 31 votes for 5 stars and an average vote of 4.11 stars out of 73 votes
Samurai has 39 votes for 5 stars and an average vote of 4.17 stars out of 75 votes

In a matter of enjoying a class summoner has the best average at 4.33 of 76 votes, 44 votes are 5 stars.

Least loved class is mascot haha at 1.91 average 67 votes 34 at 1 star (Was added for fun anyways lol)
And it appears that obscure, and not as iconic classes get rated the worst, like Juggler, Lady Luck, Morpher, Sage, ect ect..

FF Favorites
XI and VII are tied for most favorited FF at 23 while VI is very close at 21 votes. IX is at 15 and X is at 10 (lol).
VII in a mater of rating is at 4.47 while XI is at 4.40, so it seems more people could stand VII but that XI had still captured many favorites. VI up to XI are all at or above 4 star average along with IV, the rest are below 4 stars. Part of this for I, II, and III is a lot of people didn't play them.

XIII got the worst score with an average of 2.93 and 103 votes.

because more people played VII?
i havn't played IV, and VI was to long ago, so dont remember details. IX was lots of yawn, and dont remember details there either, but i remember that i didn't really understand the point of the game, and the last boss was some weird thing, that didn't make any sense. It just popped up from nowhere, without mention previously in the game.
I suppose i might enjoy them more now though ^^ could check them out while waiting for beta.
