I second the "dev response on CE for 1.0 CE holders and PS3 CE plans"...seeing how we are now closer to launch and I am certain they have an idea by now.

I picked the pre-order over the CE because I thought the Onion Helm was goofy looking and liked the goggles much better

But for ARR, I'd like to see a light up Dalamud! or Bahamut statue! I would so pay extra for that!

The CE for FFXiV:ARR should have a Manga about the raise and decline for XiV:1.0, especially for the love of manga
readers!

Another point: If it's a CE, there should be more for your buck in comparing to the last CE I got. I mean, UK version of FFXIV1.0 got a map (and a mug >.>)of Eorzea, WTH?? Very partial to regional Collectors Editions are we? I'm not hating but what i get should be equal in quality as everyone in the world.

Is it possible to have the DEV team sign their work too(and I mean literally)?
Will it be impossible to add the portfolios of all the changes done to FFXIV and new concept art?
If I request Onion boots for this launch, can I get me a pair to go with my Onion set?

I want to approach the Collectors Edition with caution because if I'm "called to duty" for the PC BETA again(and not the PS3), I'd go for pre-ordering the CE of the PS3 and vise-versa. My question to SE is:

Will we get advanced notice to what BETA(if any) we'll be participating in before the end of the BETA phase (or launch)?

Well choose your version carfefully if they have different bonus items i had both PC versions and you could only use one code....><

You could use both codes. You just had to use them before character creation in order to get the items. So, if you got the CE for early access, then you had to start over to also get the goggles.

Yeah, I always thought that was a lame restriction :P. They better get that figured out for 2.0! There is gonna be a helluva lot of already existing characters that aren't going to get their pre-order items because they aren't new characters for ARR! lol I'm sure they will though.

They have a mail system now, so getting items for existing characters isnt a problem, like I said, I am more concerned with their CE plans from here forward

You can't tell me, that they can't add CE items to your character without a mail system! :P They are the developers for goodness sakes! They can add whatever they want to the character without a mail system! :P
