I think we can all agree that Halone is a Galka/Roe of tremendeous and badass proportions. I would also be willing to accept him as a taru/lala but only if he were the only 5ft tall taru ever and built like a brick shithouse.

I really hope SE incorporates the 12 into the main story line as pivotal characters, akin to how they did the crystal warriors in FFXI. Right now the story of the 12, their history with Bahamut and old man Loui is the major draw to this game for me. The major quest lines (nation, ZM, CoP) were the most memorable aspect to me in FFXI, I hope for the same in FFXIV.
I don't know, The Twelve and their involvement with Bahamut is an important thing, but keep in mind the Crystal Warriors of XI were stated and killed. I don't see the same thing happening with the Twelve without losing much of their mystique. As far as characters...They can talk through archons, maybe their selection of archons is not merely a random selection.I really hope SE incorporates the 12 into the main story line as pivotal characters, akin to how they did the crystal warriors in FFXI. I was thinking though, what is the difference between the Echo and the Archons? Do we represent anything at all?
What the twelves look like:
what the primals look like:
what i want to say with that? there are some similiarities between FFXIV and the greek myths.
in the greek myths, "titans" ruled the world before there have been human alike gods like zeus, ares, aphrodite.
but in FF14 its the other way around.
the "twelves" ruled the world BEFORE the primals (titans).
The image of the most bass ackward representation of greek myths available...why? What did the forums do to deserve this??
Also, I may be wrong, but who leads what seems to be considerably vague, We know what the Twelve/Primals represent, and yes their strength is unfathomable. but the idea of rule seems more limited, than say, mythologies explaining "oh these groups of guys rule everything, and these groups of guys are just whinging about it."
