Simply question about "Beta phase 1"

LNC tank FTW! We'll be capped at lvl 35ish, so I don't think it'll matter much.

I'm hoping that when the other classes are available, dungeons will actually require more from the players than to be clearable without a tank, for instance. Maybe I'm asking for too much..

Still looking forward to seeing the FATE system and other aspects of the beta test, though.

Nice to have confirmation. That is incredibly disappointing news, though. Was hoping to finally get a glimpse of the actual battle system with group dynamics, etc.. but that won't be possible without a tank class available.

Phase 1 isn't really about that anyways. But it would have been nice to have a tank sure. Suppose LNC will have to do
Phase 1 wont last long enough, and servers wont be up long enough for many people to cap. And GLD isn't really that good a tank early on anyways. It wont matter until phase 3, when we can import paladins and such; if there's even any 35+ instances/fates to do where a pala would be needed.

In any case, only 3 classes at lv35 dungeons will be not totally reliable for feedbacks imo.

Bummer, I really wanted to test out fishing in the first phase of beta. It's also going to be kind of awkward not having a tank up until level 35 and trying to test out dungeons. I'm guessing people were able to make do with lancer in Alpha, but it'd be nice to test real party mechanics. Guess that'll have to wait a while.

As mentioned in the Producer Letter, the first phase of the Beta Test will take place in Gridania, and as such will only include the classes that have guilds found within Gridania.

That said, please remember that the Alpha Tester non-disclosure agreement is still in effect, so please refrain from discussion Alpha-related content.

ya, and by info in alpha videos, LNC skills do high damage, so LNC DPS aggro. So i'm not worried

I was more wanting to check out mrd/gld skills to try and guage future tanking. I've seen a few small clips of skills..
