Shared hairstyles, new hairstyles and changing them

The latest letter (as well as some other apparently mined pics) gives us evidence that hairstyles will be shared within the races.

F Elezen -> F Miqo'te hairstyle
M Lalafell -> M Elezen hairstyle

But I really do hope we will also be getting a range of new hairstyles, if not now then why not in future patches?

Just more proof of inter-racial breeding's resulting statisitical distribution of double recessive race linked hairstyle genes....

If they get time or perhaps in some expansion they add one more race(clan) to every specie(race) then I'd like to see Sazh Chocobo Afro




also the Barber is something Yoshida plans on doing after release, and on that I'd guess they may add more styles / options (tattoos/markings/hair).

I'm not gonna change my hairstyle, but I may tweak the color slightly. I wanted black with purple highlights, but it came out looking just purple.

IIRC werent they adding in a salon/barber shop so you can adjust your appearance to some extent after your character is created?
