    Anyone know if there are plans for open chat or mumble type interface for ps3?

    There will be nothing like this on the PS3 as the system can't perform this itself.

    However, although ARR will not have voice chat on release, Yoshi brought up some time ago if there was enough demand for it they would consider adding it.

    Although there is no voice/video chat during a game, there is text chat rooms. Used it alot for demon/dark souls and other games.

    Nope. No voice chat unless the PS3 itself provides a voice chat tool that you can use in any game (I have no idea, I don't own a PS3)

    SE already said they aren't integrating voice in the game.

    Lots of PS3 games have voice chat but its up to the devs to put it in and support it. Unlike 360 that uses a xbox live voice chat system.
