Retainers for money

I was having this idea about SE charging money for extra retainers. What do you guys think about it ? PS I enjoyed crafting a lot more to that I like collecting items and gear

I think instead of real money it could be in the form of in-game payment. It could be similar to how we paid for mog lockers in XI (with the Aht Urgan currency).

I vaguely recall back when 1.0 was first released, there were plans that you'd be able to buy extra retainers for real money (like $1 per or something) but that was well over 2 years ago now, I could be misremembering. It seemed they dropped the idea though, just like they dropped the idea of retainer levelling for additional benefits/services. They've returned to the latter idea now though so who knows.

I am not for paying for extra retainers...with real money anyway. ESPECIALLY NOT MONTHLY.

Considering in ARR, your retainer will also be doing minor gathering details for you, and possible other task, I highly doubt we will have more then one retainer, or else SE will be introducing major imbalance issues regarding them.

Oh nice I'm really exited about my interaction with the retainers. I wish they do something just like the companions on SWTOR Like they craft for you or mini quest line for better retainers skills. Possibilities are endless WOOT WOOT
