I thought Komoto was lead designer on CoP, and he is still working on this game.

He was but under Tanaka's lead that everything went into XI. When I originally heard Komoto was on the team I was hoping for more.

Kinda getting disgusted at how fast the fanboys are to say "oh, but this will be fixed next patch!" with every failure of an update. Every patch gives us more broken *** that never gets fixed and makes this unfun game even less fun. We all want the game to succeed, but praising the team for their *** isn't gonna give them the right idea.

End of discussion. Are there those of you who want that kind of game? Yes. Will you be getting that kind of game again? No. Of course you won't, no more than Square Enix will make a game for furries.

There will be challenging content and good endgame. But it'll be instanced. Its intended target will be five times larger than what the hardcores wish it were. It'll be convenient and wieldy.

People other than them will actually play it, and that in essense is why the hardcores will hate it.

So we're getting a game that will fail and not be fun? I don't care how hardcore, how casual, how dumb the game is, as long as its FUN and keeps me occupied. Currently, this game is too easy to be fun, too broken to be fun, too retarded to be fun. No patch increases the fun, it just further proves they don't know what they're doing.

They go one step forward, then 2 steps back. 20 new low level NM's with good drops? Yes! Awesome! Makes it feel more like FFXI, makes the world feel more alive, more content, more stuff to do while leveling up. Oh you nerfed the level 50 NM's and added a +10%acc/hp party buff? Oh you made the new NMS 3-5 min repop with decent drop rates? +1 -2 = -1

Why are you arguing with me? You post in other threads how easy this game is and how you want it challenging, how you said "is the target audience toddlers? infants?". You agree with me the game is too easy! You want a challenge! The same things I do! Why are you against me? o_o

Note: I hate HNM's, I NEVER DID HNM's, I DESPISE them, I found them very boring. I would like more content like limbus and nyzul. I also hated salvage because I felt it was too limiting and made people only bring like 5 different jobs out of 20 -_-.

I just want a fun, good, hard, challenging game that I feel like I accomplish something in when I finish something or gain something. I want party based teamwork based leveling and playing. I don't want this game to be a rush to the level cap to do "end game". I want the game to start at level 10ish, when you first start grouping up and leveling with other people. I want missions that require a group and are hard, challenging, AND FUN. The most fun for me in FFXI was leveling up in parties, missions with parties(COP mainly, but there were other fun hard missions like asa/moogle/acp) and lowmanning sea/sky/limbus/VNM's.

It's funny you say that because most of the community at-lest on my server in XI tried to help people not look down on them also I was far from hardcore on XI but I still loved the hard content.

That was a pretty fail post I'm not for hardcore or casual...I like both. Your not winning or doing yourself any good here.. So sad... so let me know when you have that operation okay? I'll pray for you.
