not have. we had. he left when they announced payments.

he wasn't a bad guy at all honestly 99% of the time, but when he'd drink he changed. he is just one of those that would rub someone the wrong way and some people held hard grudges and never could let them go so anyone that spoke to him were guilty by association for a long time. you know how it is when you deal with someone everyday you can overlook that one day they are rude, but when you only speak to them a few times that one bad incident sticks out.

there were a few rude people on karnak and that i will not disagree with at all, but for every 1 of those rude people there were hundreds of great people on the server. those great people are the ones that kept me playing even with as flawed as the game was. i didn't let those few influence me because, quite frankly, there's nowhere on the net you are going to go where everyone is nice.

also santi. i believe i know who you are talking about, but there's 3 that really could be that person i can think of. all 3 of them left the game, but 1 of those 3 returned later.

well vg, sno, and robo left after the first major set of battle changes because they thought battle was way too slow. i've finally got them talked into coming back to at least give arr a shot once it comes back online.

chaos left and went back to xi. he got engaged and has a lil one now so he doesn't play at all anymore from my understanding. i haven't been able to catch him online to ask him in months now though.

i didn't think sophia quit playing the game. he had told us he was moving over to the eu server when they did the server merge. i haven't spoken to him since to see if he's still playing.

agreed completely. i am still undecided which group i'd go with if the groups of friends i play with went opposite ways. i have a strange feeling if they do give us an option that i'll have to decide though because i know some would stay global and some would go regional if they had a choice. i just haven't been able to speak with enough people to know who is going which way. i hope to be able to get more info during beta on that.

It does leave a bit of uncertainty out there as far as which region Excalibur will end up in. It really didn't seem like there was any delay/lag issues so far though (even on crappy laptops running on high settings :P), so I see a lot of people just staying put no matter where it ends up. Even people like me who swore they were moving to an NA server no matter what.
