NPC Address Me With My Title

I suppose it's a bit late for this, but will there be any NPCs or cutscenes where they identify you with your title? "Yru Ejk, of the Desert Grasses....thank you." or something of that nature. I know some of the Grand Company NPCs address you by rank "Second Lieutenant Yru Ejk, good work today." It just seems like the titles could be put to more use.

To be honest, I would prefer a simple "Sir Ejk" or "Lady Trife" among the "peasant" NPC's in towns etc every now and then.. I think the full titles can sound rather cheesy at times..

I wonder if SE has the VA address us by our titles...like, if Raubahn has a VA, he will say "Flame Lieutenant" or whatever your title is. Obviously they can't say our names, but maybe they can call us by our titles.. "Ahh, Lieutenant (Name), I'm glad to see you!". The (Name) appears in the caption, but the NPC doesn't say it.

If you are talking about voice acting, then it was mentioned that voice acting was in the main story, not sidequests. I personally can't imagine them doing voice acting for every line they say your tank, 5-6 times (for every GC rank) then furthermore having to update them all once a new rank comes out. I doubt the voice acting will include the ranks, and it will be more about the behaviour of the NPC's around the GC (saluting you as you walk in the door, etc).

I want SE to use Microsoft Sam to add my name to cutscenes. :P

Well to be honest it wouldn't be ALL NPCs, only ones that know who you are. Maybe like 3 or 4 in the whole world, but they'd be recurring NPCs in quests, or ones you visit often.

As for the voice GC NPCs saying your title out loud, I think that would be great as long as it's done right. Japanese and English (and anything else) would probably put the title in very different parts of the sentence. "<rank> no hou ga suki desu yo." vs. "I like the <rank> better!"

If there were a moment where they call you across a distance, it would be easier.
*player is leaving the GC building on a mission. GC leader calls after them.* "Second Leiutenant!" *clips to player's face looking in there direction, then clips back to GC leader* "Good luck out there!"
It's sort of like in Futures Perfect where the Path Companion only says a few short lines, and is voiced depending on your choice of their race/gender.

I'm pretty sure that Ferne likes to be addressed as "Sir Captain Awesome"
