XIV is Not Being Remade for You/Us

I was under the impression that he was doing both, what with us being part of the larger gaming community after all. If Realm Reborn's going to be made for the entire MMO community, that includes us. What you're saying is that the game's being remade without its current playerbase in mind, which is dead wrong. No company would want to do that.

Deny it all you want, but I find it hard to believe this would even close to being as popular as Guild Wars 2...

Because GW2 is sooo popular, right? Is that why ArenaNet has been spamming me every day for the past two weeks trying to get me to log back in because "We've got a whole new redesigned Gem Store!"

GW2 sucks. It's a Korean gear grind that masquerades as a western-style action RPG.

Meh, I still stand by most of what was said in the OP, but the tone of it was written when the tone of the XIV forums was a lot different. I will say that my message is in agreement with a lot of the changes since it was written, but of course I want it to feel more like a Final Fantasy game than some generic WoW POS.

With that said, I'm going to request that this be locked. It's served it's purpose; it's time to move on to a bigger and better game in ARR.
