    Not the requierments to get the job, but the classes that you can use abilities from. Each class can get abilities from all of the classes, but each job can get abilities from 2 classes. At least that how it was in V1.

    Onto your point, I think you can certaintly build Samurai from a lancer class BUT Samurai MUST be able to use a katana.

    If there is a Samurai who can't use a katana I will buy a plane, fly to SE office, 'land' my jet in their parking lot, and flip Yoshida's table, then I will buy a moogle plushie and swim back.

    Yea, I'm sure they could find a work around, it would just suck to have to keep a class weapon around just so you an use a job weapon lol!! But on your second point, I'd be ok with a great katana class, that branches into samurai, and something completely new

    GKT class: Vagrant, sturdy fighter similar to war that regains TP quickly for WSs, does not have WAR AoE power
    job 1: Samurai, 4 string WS combos, one tp ability, and extra max TP
    job 2: (actually I think it would be really cool to let mystic knight use GKT )

    I agree with you completly, I think there should be 1 class 1 Job. but caught on the thread late and the idea of 1 class 2 jobs had been stablished already. Also i think SE said something on those lines too

    as for job specific weaps, they could make it like they've already made it. when you equip your Relic, wich is job sclusive, the sould equips automaticly

    Thank you for clarifying but if I'm not mistaken the abilities you can use on jobs are taken from the 2 classes it is unlocked from?Are they not?

    I also think the route SE most likely will go is 1 job per class,for now anyway.Someone posted about releasing Arcanist and Musketeer in limsa to make each city have 3 classes/jobs.Then with an expansion release 3 more classes/jobs with Ishguard.I could see that happening then maybe further down the road branching off to having more than 1 job per class.

    It is mind numbing to think of all the possibilities;I'm sure the good people over at SE have thought of all this and then some.

    Replace Puppet Master on PUG with Dancer instead.

    Other than those, I think the list looks good and actually follows my way of thinking in how classes/jobs should be handled in 14. Roughly 10 "Base Classes" with each class having 2 job classes.
    ya that what people don't get jobs are for quest and story plot while Class is for grinding and lot's of it

    You say you only need 1 class then you go and list 2 classes per job One @ 30 and the other @ 15.That's all I was saying all along.You just didn't have any of those combinations on your previous list.That's all I just think maybe you miss understood Me.Great ideas though I'm not hating^^
