Yeah, whoever thought of Gearscore needs to be shot. It has nothing to do with your abilities as a player, which often times you can player better than any Gear could make up for!
Secondly, when people you can't get that type of gear until you start doing dungeons and nobody will invite you to a group unless you have a certain Gearscore. And you can't do dungeons by yourself. Your stuck in a vicious cycle of not being able to do anything about it!
exactly I got denied from some linkshells cause my gear wasn't good enough which I think is bull not everyone could afford to double meld or buy double melds.Yeah, whoever thought of Gearscore needs to be shot. @Notredamefan23
what? Dont you know that Customization Add-Ons is coming? LOL
nope first ive heard of it and don't like the idea. except for maybe a windower. like I used to use in 11 lol.
If a monster does a crazy AOE and the range of it is lets say 20 yalms, and your a caster that wants to dodge as much as you can, you can stand @ 19 yalms from the monster and as soon as you see the monster cast that big aoe move, you just step back 2 yalms and now your out of range and wont get hit. That's just one example but there are many usefully reason as to why one would want to know the distance from it's target.
true you got a point there, that might be usefullIf a monster does a crazy AOE and the range of it is lets say 20 yalms, and your a caster that wants to dodge as much as you can, you can stand @ 19 yalms from the monster and as soon as you see the monster cast that big aoe move, you just step back 2 yalms and now your out of range and wont get hit. sorry I was relatively new to the game and didnt get to experience much and missed legacy by a month lol.
You could avoid damage by standing 23.31(or something like that. it was extremely precise.) meters away from Chimera because it was a blindspot for two of its strongest attacks.
It's super useful.
