TESO the biggest rival for ARR?

Some of them seem to be Final Fantasy clones mixed with Korean sluttyness XD
BLESS and Kingdom Under Fire II have a few cool things but overall i don't feel like i'm making a bad decision playing ARR

Im really not getting that korean sluttyness thing, like.. just go google some "stuff" if you need it -that bad- lol.

I dont think ARR is a bad choice - specially if you like FF games. I was just trying to say in context of this thread that ARR does have competition and because of the unfortunate matter of it being behind (because of 1.0 and time available) that it has some short comings. Like I looked at some of those videos (you linked) gameplay of players knocking down tower, directional combat madness, highly limited to no zones, and open world building and I may have drooled a little. That said there where other parts I was like meh.. ARR is way better at.

In the end I left with the feeling that it was just my personal preference and not "THIS IS THE BEST". Being here it should be obvious my preference is ARR . There are a lot of things about ARR that I like, and there are a lot of things about SE and Yoshida I like. In the end I think ARR will payout better- I guess I'm just worried and sad that I dont think everyone will see what we see (or that Yoshida is pressured with time and wont be able to implement core mechanics and therefore may not ever be able to add them - although he has said many times that he wont release it till he thinks its great).
