TESO the biggest rival for ARR?

I usually give up an Elder Scrolls game after several hours out of pure annoyance that the character models and animations seem entirely out of place.. The world always looks incredible, but the characters feel like they've been designed by a completely different studio .. I'm aware that a lot of people love the Elder Scroll character models/animations though, so it might just be I'm too picky.

That said, Elder Scrolls Online is basically done by a different studio, so I expect the modelling and animation to be different as well (plus that they can't go all out on the details). I also love DAoC and played it a LOT, so I'm quite interesting to see what ESO is going to be like. If it's getting PvP/RvR like in DAoC, I'll definitely play it, but I'm doubtful it will because most current MMO players expect rewards for everything they do, so there'll be little to no PvP/RvR for the sake of PvP/RvR...


That said, I'm a FF fan, so I'll definitely be playing ARR (as long as I can get myself to stop playing FFXI around the time ARR releases )

I've never played a TES game for its character models and animations. They suck.

Just like the above poster says.. horrible lol. I thank modders for improving character models and animations to a point. But you just dont play TES for that - you arent picky, its bad lol.
