Actually, I don't care about children, at allHopefully there are actual child models for lalafell. It felt incredibly awkward in 1.0 when a full grown model was referred to as a young child. The tarutaru children in XI were adorable, so I look forward to possible lalafell ones!
It'd be nice to have the option to give your character NPC children like some other MMO's offer. I think it makes you feel like your character actually has a natural life in the game or motivation to keep fighting and improving themselves every day. Or it may just be relaxing to come back to your house after a long day of playing and get enthusiastically welcomed by your adorable child. Could also spin off a bunch of quests revolving around it to keep people busy with if they wish to involve themselves in the feature.I just want to grow veggies, raise farm animals and decorate my house ^ ^;;;

I used to play an AI game/simulater/whatever called Creatures. In it, the creatures you raised laid small eggs and the eggs would grow over time outside the mother's body and then hatch to deliver a creature about half the size (and almost identical in appearance) to it's adult counterpart. The infant would grow to adolescence and adulthood over a matter of hours, simply getting bigger but not really changing in any other way until it eventually became elderly and got grey touches to its fur.
I can see lalafell following suit.
