I have gay friends and family that I have total respect for.

I understand that you don't really mean anything by it, and your point about not wanting marriage in the game at all is fair, but please don't use this to justify yourself. Having loved ones who happen to be LGBT is not a free pass to say whatever you like about the whole community without fear of being called out on it.

This is EXACTLY what I was talking about and reason why this thread should just be removed..
People get all up in arms and try to start burning people at the stake..
Either conform to what they want you to believe or you are a scumbag.

You both missed the point I was trying to get across. I wasn't saying that he should have to justify his opinion (because it justifies itself, I said right in that paragraph that his point was fair) I was saying that he should never justify his opinion by saying he has LGBT loved ones whether his opinion needs justification or not.

That is not what you said at all but I like how you tried to cover your bashing tracks..
You forgot this part:

Did I say anything I want to say about the community?
You act like I went on some kind of bashing tirade and people LIKED what you said, as if you said something?
Did I insult the community? No.
But you imply I did then go on immediately to justify your little hate speech..

You want a same sex marriage game and you want to turn every game you play into some kind of stage for equal rights.. Go make a game then.. Keep FF out of this..
