Many more restrictive than others, and many contain provisions which dratsically increase the cost of running a contest in that country, effectively but not explcitly prohibiting it.
Like it or not, it is no simple task running contests, especially those with physical/monetary prizes, in many different countries at once.

Seeing as how SE got in a mess before for a contest, I don't think this assumption is out of line.
If the contest is not being held in your country, perhaps you should contact your local government or SE directly.
The walls of text and 'assumptions' were posted in reply to you posting on a forum for players. Players then responded. If your gripe is with the company holding the contest and the country in which the contest is NOT being held, then your complaint does not belong here.
Everyone thought paid retainers and fantasia would be the end of it.
