Speaking of Lalafells.... Children please??

There are no child Roe in XIV so far. I don't recall if there is a child Miqote either, but I doubt it. But they would likely make child models for them if they put them in as children...but as I said, with the Lalafell, there ARE child NPCs, but they're lazily using adult models for them.

I heard a rumour there were child Miqo'te out of sight in the back of the miners guild, but you had to pay a very high price to see them.

The thing is, SE has stated in the lore of the race that lalafell don't seem to physically age appearance wise - I refer to the main FFXIV website here:



So there you have it - the lalafell are meant to look like children even when they're adults and hence do not show physical signs of aging (by the same token, I presume miqo'te don't seem to physically age either as far as appearance goes, as there are no 'elderly' miqo'te ever seen, only young adults.).

Do you mean to tell me Lalafell are BORN adult size? Do newbown lalafell just shed their parent like a cicada? I assume that bit of lore applies to the inability to tell if the Lalafell is 18 or 75. Not a CHILD vs. an adult.

Children in XIV were all kept behind closed doors for whatever reason, like the alch quest children. They do need to bring them out into the open in ARR, like they are with Male Miqo'te .
