A new FFXIV:ARR fan site in the works

Hey everyone, I've been a long time member here and an active player (character: Lunch Box) on the Balmung server up until services went offline. I'm getting really excited about the 2.0 release and was starting a new fan fueled website devoted to A Realm Reborn and wanted to invite players to join.

Currently in development, the site will offer the common elements you will find with most fan sites like forums, wikis, and general game news. However, we're also looking to offer players some additional functionality that other sites don't.

Currently on the roadmap we have the following planned:

Enhanced profiles - These will allow you to follow other members and receive updates as to what they're talking about. These profiles will allow you to add images, share updates, follow others, and more.

Character Profiles - You will be able to add multiple character profiles to your account so others can see what you enjoy doing, what servers you play on and you will be ale to find others will similar interests

Groups -Pretty self explanatory, but basically a good way to join conversations with those that have like-minded interests. Raids, grand companies, etc.

Linkshell / Grand Company Websites - We looking at offering websites dedicated to your clans, grand companies, and linkshells. These will be mappable to your own domain and allow you to feature images of your group, display rosters of character information for users in the LS and allow you to schedule events for raids, dungeon runs, caravan escorts, or the occasional group gathering.

In addition to the above, A huge focus of the site will be put on fan supplied walk troughs and video. We even plan on having our own "Let's play" series to help new users become acquainted with the game and to attract those who may not have heard about it.
