I was honestly thinking a new thread on this topic could benefit us all. We could refocus on our common goal of FF hilarity but also expand upon it. Now I say this knowing that I've so far failed miserably at being funny -- but I want the more meme-y adept to thrive and live on. I even came up with the title to said thread:
FFXIV MEMES & OTHER COMICAL MALADIES: A REFERENCE REBORN
^--- Honestly, the abominable apostrophe in this thread's title is killing me...and I think adding "comical maladies" might soothe the meme purists among us.

The story is very tragic though. Even the music when you fight her reflects this. It's like Shadow Lord. You feel for him and why he is the way he is, but you have no other choice but to kill him. Lilith is no different.
It was a breath of fresh air after the mindless killing machines and diabolical mustache-twirling villains we've had otherwise, like Eald'narche, Alexander, and Promathia.
Except it's not even me or Skye that keep bumping the topic. It's been others that keep bringing it back, so don't blame the fan clubNow that I finally have forum access again, maybe I can finally get some words in.
Look, I understand a few of you have a Thancred obsession. Some of you even have a homosexual love for him. That's fine and you have your right to have such an obsession.
Take me. I love female Roegadyns and have a bit of a crush on Merlwyb. Not to these extents, but I do like her nonetheless.
My point is, however, is that this subject has run it's course and is, quite honestly, derailing this meme topic. It's turning into a "Thancred Fan Topic."
I'm glad I've been locked out of the forum for a few days so I could think about how to approach this, but I can honestly say some of you need to either let the thancred fanboyism/fangirlism die off, or crate a new topic for it. This is a FFXIV Meme topic, not the Thancred fan club.
So again, those of you who love Thancred, be it a normal level or an unhealthy obsession, by all means keep it. Just stop flooding this topic with it. It was funny at first, but now it has gone on for too long. If you want to keep it going, just make a Thancred Fan Club topic.
Kagato, The Final Boss, now leaves you with this:
Soon...I've been wanting to do some memes but meh, I'd rather wait for a good idea than put out half-assed ones.
Also, chillax etc
I agree Hestern, the 's makes me want to hunt all apostrophes in this world and nuke them from existence. It's one punctuation error that I have a psychotic hatred for xDI was honestly thinking a new thread on this topic could benefit us all. I don't think refreshing the thread would serve much purpose either. I think people, like myself, are generally dry of ideas atm. I agree, too much of anything is bad, and I hate that ya'll have had to put up with Than for as long as you have ._.; I never like pushing my fandoms on anyone.

Once I have the time and money, I will try my best to go back to FFXI and get everything done. I couldn't finish end-game or get my character high enough in levels because I could get no parties. Then I got sucked into FFXIV and didn't go back, so FFXI feels very archaic to me now.The story is very tragic though. Even the music when you fight her reflects this. It's like Shadow Lord.
