    The cost depends on two things. One how much does it cost to transfer a character safely at any time and two how much should we charge to prevent abuse... Unless they are willing to reduce the amount on the abuse side of things I expect the cost of transferring a character to between servers to be more since there is more data transfered with a character transfer in ff14 than in ff11...

    It's an automated process that really costs SE nothing to do, the question is how much do they want to make on it.
