BR was horrible, yes it may have served a purpose but it was far too confusing for the average player.. regardless of what the l33ts think of it I never once ran into anyone in game who knew how to use it or even what it was.. limit breaks/skillchains are much easier to use and remember

2) pick the skill to use,
3)begin BR...

The main problem with battle regimen is it tied you up while you are waiting for other people to select their actions. It was mainly designed to be like skillchains except you pick all the actions in advance and have them all fired off in sequence automatically, but the fact that you couldn't actually do anything while you had a BR action queued up prevented it form being as useful and commonplace as it should have been.

i agree with you. all that was needed was to lock out whatever action was qued into the regimen while waiting on the rest to go in and it would have been fine for even a novice. the way it was worked great if you were with a group that was good at using it and there was hardly any time spent waiting unless you were using like a shadowseer cap that took a while to cast. there was more strategy in using a battle regimen with the old 15 man parties than it has been in anything else the game has had to offer.
i also completely agree with you about the incap moves and visual effects when you executed it properly. i know a friend of mine rydin along with myself have made multiple posts about how we missed the incap abilities and how we wish they would have made them more useful and common than what they were. the feeling when you knocked off the skele head for the shot at that rare eyepatch or breaking the horn off the buffalo or mosshorns were feelings that i'll hold as some of my favorite moments in the game. it was something that took planning and knowing what to do and they had rewards for doing so.
