Well, i dont see that to be a negative thing, wouldnt you agree that we play a MMORPG to get a good story and a good item at the same time? let me put a good example, Rajas ring, after all the trouble of getting a good set of friends to do it with you and all those bad ass fights you were rewarded with that item as prove that you completed that storyline and the best of all is... that it was a very useful item, i came back after the XIV servers went offline and i still see most of the ppl's wearing that, after all those years is still useful, its a good thing that in a party after doing some damage some ppls checks on you to see what are you wearing, that means they like your numbers and they can assume all what you went thru to have those gears, wouldnt you feel good knowing that?

Yes egos, i think the ppls that doesnt like this is because they want all handed over easily or dont want to be involved in something complex, like i said before if i cant get an item like those linkshells that are 24/7 in one week because i work, well maybe in a couple of months i can get the items
