Ah, but will facing north-by-northeast at 2:45 a.m. while the moon is a waning crescent result in a 27% increase in your chances to synthesize HQ mythril ingots!? That is real the question! ~Fernehalwes~
Is it Kosher? I'm a Jew.

is your FFXIV char jew or are you a jeew Pwn : < im confused is there a jewish faith among elvaan in FFXIV?
"Thy life is a river to bear rapture and sorrow
To listen to suffer to entrust until tomorrow
In one fleeting moment, from the land doth life flow
Yet in one fleeting moment for the new leaf doth grow"
I think he means himself in real life. But I guess his character is also sharing the dietary aspect of his faith as well, which role-players often do, so I guess he means both.
Also, I'm not too sure exactly which of the Twelve the elezen are stated as worshiping in particular, if any (they don't seem to be as pious as the elvaan in FFXI are, who are fanatical, almost zealous, in their worship of the goddess Altana. But I digress.).
On an unrelated culinary topic, I always thought this was kind of interesting. There is (was) a quest in Gridania where a prophet of Azeyma, the Warden asks you to call certain individuals to repentance. The reward is 12 pieces of flatbread--which is appropriate, because the Latin for 'unleavened' is 'azyma' (taken directly from the Greek αζυμα).![]()

You have just unleashed a veritable storm of speculation on the nature of Azeyma in my lore-addled brain.
