well and here you can see it hits only the coast.. and not limsa city itself.. its on the water.. the dusty cloud rolling over limsa didnt destroy it.

and thats why the cities in 2.0. dont change ( except small changes). the buildings itself did not received any damage. thats the explantion for the team why the cities itself didnt changed like the environment.

Here's an idea to blow all your minds, it was confirmed by the Fern that part of Derplander and Co is to represent the player characters we all got transported together, until it was safe, so what if they want us to see most of it from their point of view. Essentially Derplander and Co have no idea what happened so we have no idea what happened and have to fund out.
