Its an opening people, you play the game to find out about the rest of things that appear here. If they explained everything from the introduction, their wouldn't be a point in playing the game now would it?

There's a difference between "explaining everything" and just "HERE IS STUFF!"
The first half of the video, aka the "End of an Era" trailer, tells a story. It shows our final moments fighting for our land.
The last half of the video, aka the new stuff, is just a clip show of random things. "Hey! Here's Odin, now here's a Behemoth! WOAH! IS THAT A CRYSTAL TOWER? Now, there's some people getting random chocobos!"
It doesn't give any narrative, which should be the entire purpose of an "opening" movie.
Also, did anyone think...about the video?
They might be on the way to pick it up??No, the video clearly showed his Bravura lying on the ground next to him with it's blade sharp end down towards the end of the End of an Era part - you can still see it lying there with it's handle sticking up after Lou teleports him into the Rift just as Megaflare swamps the area.
So yeah, he kind of violated the fundamentals of the Armoury System with that one.
Okay, SE can make cool trailers, they always have....next on the agenda?
We don't need one, we already got one.

To me its just to show what we pop back into and the 4 circle members and perhaps odin and behemoth also seem to sense our arrival. It does seem imcomplete but it is only a couple extra minutes. If you watch the movies they released in the past there seems to be more to it that will be coming. There's a difference between "explaining everything" and just "HERE IS STUFF!"

Any more news???? Well not a bad video, it's kinda weird.
Not sure I follow you here. We remain the same after being teleported as seen by how the midlander and his party haven't changed. If you choose to change your character via the character creator the game will just pretend it's how you always looked. (I guess RPers can say the aether changed them somehow?).
I don't think we'll be seeing our characters actually teleport into the world. We see the CG Midlander party do that for us as our representations. Following this logic, legacy characters may start the game where that party is headed to at the end of the movie (the giant orange aether thing in Coerthas), not where they initially teleported in the black shroud. That said I hope we do get an arriving teleport cutscene with our own characters.
It still wouldn't affect the cg movie though... we watch this movie, then teleport in with any design changes you may have made. I'm assuming the clothes you log in with is the same as your last log out before the deadline. IF you teleport in with different clothes, then yes something went wrong continuity wise. But the midlander party all teleported in wearing the same thing so I'd assume our characters will do the same.
