    I am for it simply for the ability to have more acrobatic jumps that are unique to the situation. Like somebody mentioned, the Miq'ote in Ul'dah animation. Backflips would be fun to see in game. They could also make individual animations per race so that each race would look correct when jumping. Because a Roegedyn doing backflips would just look silly.
    if they did add jump it would be motion captured, just like the rest of the game's animations. so dont count on seeing flips and spins lol. it'd also have weight, and realism, jumps would be slow. hardly distracting. There would be delay, your character would crouch slighty, jump, and then land, and get their footing and balance back. this is not like WoW's "BOINGBOINGBOINGBOING" not only the jumps would take longer to perform, they wont be spammable, and most likely be tied to the stamina bar.

    Well I appreciate the fact that Square-Enix does MoCap fir their animations. It does add a certain level of polish to their animations. On that note they could still do some nice backflips and twists with MoCap by hooking the actor up to a wire harness.

    Arrow Helix for Archer has a nice jumping animation that involves a mid air flip. Soni don't think it is out of the question for them to add jumps like this in game. It would be interesting to see some quests that vary in elevation by having you jump up to a ledge. It would be a nice break from the norm and make for some more interesting quests.
