How much more of a jump will it be to take the program, or the graphics that runs on it?
Mind you, if there are laws against it; and I'm sure there are, Keep in mind pirating games are practically a pastime in Asia since the NES.

There are no laws against running private servers of a game. Running a private server is not piracy if it's officially sanctioned and allowed by the company that made the game.
There is no law in any country that says a developer will lose trademark for distributing server software. Is making up fake laws really the best argument you guys have?
