actually in ffxi the three cities were infact 3 seperate contries.
do the math btw..... if each ffxi was different why did they all share the same holiday
you can only add so much realism in a game so it sticks to being a game.
adding too much realism crosses that line.
aka out of conbience of players all 3 city states share all holidays. ummm don't care i much rather be in my home nation or w/e nation i'm at and not have to leave it. Kinda need to draw the line here cuz its a game guys... No need to be snotty.
Sometimes a festival might be improved by making it specific to one city-state though, rather than having to bastardise it for the sake of convenience. To be honest, I couldn't care less about what they do, but I just saw an opportunity for SE to give more life to Eorzea by making meaningful festivals which help flesh out the city's lore, and also to encourage people to go to cities they might otherwise never go to (Gridana and Limsa are easily forgotten these days).actually in ffxi the three cities were infact 3 seperate contries.
