Jumping, climbing, swimming etc can add all new elements to exploration and gameplay, and therefore new types of content variations.

    I want to agree with you, but i don't want this game to become and action RPG type game. IMO I'm playing the game to concur challenges not scale walls, and other terrain. Like i said though i want to agree with you adding some maze like/puzzle like content would be cool. However even the games that implement jumping don't do this so i feel like its an unwanted burden to MMORPG players as a whole.

    But i will say if that were to happen i would not complain. Thank you

    It's cool. it just really bugs me when people accuse jumping being solely for the case of scaling miniature ledges in the way.

    Games are made up alot of little systems, not just one big system. One small System can cause a chain reaction, creating alot of other little systems. hence more content.

    However i understand people's Scepticism with the idea of jumping, cause previous games didnt innovate it to be a major aspect. But we forget that this is Square-Enix guys, They are the masters of new systems, new ways to make things fun, You can bet if jumping is added, it will be in a way that will be innovative and useful. And i'm pro jumping because i trust them to do it justice.

    You can bet if jumping is added, it will be in a way that will be innovative and useful.
    Yoshida doesn't exactly come off as a guy that is innovative or tries to innovate. Which is what this game probably needs right now, but either way I wouldn't expect anything remarkably different from the form of jumping they are about to introduce. Maybe they will expand on it in the future, who knows.

    I didnt test it yet but if thats the case then there is really no reason for jumping.
    I dont mind if they add Dungeons e.t.c with physical maze like puzzles.(this sound actually interesting)
    But I would prefer fixed animations like FFXIII, where you only can Jump when its needed or climb.

    I think they just did it for "temporary" solve problem before they add the jumping feature to the game

    they did many temporary fixing since they can't rebuild the system immediately

    so... don't be cry, we will allow to jump anyway

    Yes, the amount of puddles, holes and gaps in the scenery are really dominant. Can't walk two steps without seeing one!
