Yep, noticed this thread getting lots of off-topic posts. For anyone looking for the translated stuff check out the OP and 2nd post on first page. I updated those 2 yesterday

Just looked at the japanese loadstone and realized that name for ffxiv ARR is different in japanese (the subtitle) it is actually read... ファイナルファンタシＸＩＶ新生エオルゼア (yes I wanted to use full width romaji) The japanese name means almost the same thing just instead of a realm reborn it is final fantasy XIV Eorzea Reborn (literally rebirth of Eorzea)
Just wanted to mention it since I haven't seen it posted anywhere...

Thats really neat to know, I think both sound great - but A Realm Reborn = ARR is more memorable then Eorzea Reborn = ER. So I think it was a great localization choice.

I noticed that during the live broadcast, when Yoshi-P kept saying "Shin Eorzea". Definitely like the stylized choice of using "A Realm Reborn"
